I care.....that it's going down. Doubt it'll last long though. I'm willing to bet that it'll jump up in a week.

I find it odd that it went down on a Holiday wekend, usually it's the other way round.

Although I do like that there seems to be less people driving these days, made it home from camp with no traffic yesterday even crossing the Hudson.

well they have been raping my bank account long enough... its about time the prices start dropping, they need to drop back down to under $3/gal. There is no compelling reason for them to be this high.

I have heard that oil is one of this nations top exports, now if that were true, what are well selling it to other countries who are in turn reselling it back to us for a higher price? I would not be surprised to find that to be true.

I also heard that before we invaded Iraq, we were trading them our excess food for oil and that is why prices were so low before the Iraq war. So what would be different now? We own the country, why is gas still so high? Should it not be lower with the extra oil we have our hands in?

dont really know how true they are, but makes for some interesting theories.

You sure it wasn't E85, saw a few places in Smithtown putting their E85 price up top and it looks like their gas price, or was it Sunoco where it is much cheaper if you buy a car wash and fill up?
