Fucking assholes... That's one of the reasons I don't miss living in Queens. Never thought I'd be able to own a softop Jeep, now I take my doors and top down for the weekend and don't worry about anything but the weather. If people see as much as a suction cup mark on your windshield they assume you left a nav in the car somewhere. PEOPLE SUCK!

What did they do to your back window? Or is that where they climbed in, looks like they unzipped your side too..

Yeah they just unzipped it and pushed it down. Def a 2 man job the subwoofer enclosure is hard enough to lift by yourself but they had to manuever it around spare tire. They even took out every last coin from the ash tray. Ever car I've had in NYC has been broken into. Atleast there was no broken glass sigh

That sucks man, but ya, you can't leave anything not securely attached in a Jeep Wrangler, especially not with the soft top on it. That is true across the country, I have seen probably hundreds of these threads in jeepforum. I had my Jeep "broken into" on my driveway out in Shirley, NY a few years ago. I say broken into because they yanked the glovebox and center console open even though they were locked, but I had no doors or roof on it at the time. I picked up a Tuffy glove box and it hasn't gotten opened on me yet.

As far as that stereo stuff goes, keep it for the honda because by the time you find a way to mount it securely it will be too muffled to hear anyway. Just put a decent set of speakers in the pods and a cheap deck in, and take the faceplate with you.

Yeah definitely glad I just used old components sitting in the garage than buying anything new. They left the rugged ridge sound bar so ill prob just hook that up to a cheap amp and ditch the subwoofer. It was nice for the 2 months I had it installed haha
